Ferry Street Barbecue is a hidden gem in Newark. The food is flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked—especially the ribs and grilled chicken. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick even during busy hours. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the experience is consistently satisfying. A must-visit spot if you’re craving quality barbecue in the Ironbound area.

The people there are hardworking and super efficient and the only reason it deserves 5 stars it's cause of them. The owner is an old guy with glasses and is rude with the customers, stands right on your face like he's about to fight you and treats you as of you're lesser. It's so bad I honestly hope you don't deal with him. He's lucky he has nice workers specially the grill and take out staff. Food is delicious.

Great service Great atmosphere Great food! I love the grilled meat! However, a lot of the time the steaks are mostly FAT... Don't be fooled by the first visit. They will give you the idea you will receive great pieces of meat. By giving you a nice piece but I have remained loyal and continued paying for FAT!!!
